Every child, from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8, every teacher (except the Vice Principal) and every supervisor belongs to one of 4 houses. The Vice Principal is the gatekeeper and his role is to keep track of the points each house earns and to post them on the score board on a weekly basis. The 4 houses are named after former prime ministers of Canada and each has it's own colour. The houses are:

MacDonald - Blue
King - Black
Laurier - Red
St. Laurent - Green

Each house is also divided into 3 levels:

Seniors - Grades 7 & 8
Juniors - Grades 4, 5, 6
Tykes - Grades JK, SK, 1, 2, 3

Each house has a male and female captain. This year's captains are:

Scott Crowe/Kelsey Fielding - Laurier House
Nathan Prince/Michelle Tagliafierro - King House
Joey Ruberto/Lidis Nieforth - St. Laurent House
Matthew Borraro/Lindsay Wandziak - MacDonald House

Students can earn points for their Houses through their academic work, their volunteer efforts around the school and by collecting Canadian Tire Money, Pioneer Gas coupons and Campbell Soup labels. From time to time, we have House Colour days. These are days when House members can gain points for wearing their House colours. By the end of May, the House with the highest points will win an outing in June with all expenses paid by the School Council.
